Solar Opportunities

“If more large scale industrial and commercial facilities utilized solar or some form of renewable energy, this would help alleviate the heavy usage of fossil fuels and ease strain on the grid, in turn reducing costs inherited by consumers.”

Solar Opportunities

“Schools and public work areas. In my hometown, my old high school, as well as every public elementary school, junior high, and high school has large carport solar arrays. This is not only helping offset their consumption on an annual basis but also informs and educates students about renewable energy.”

– Mason Bigelow

Mason’s journey took him from the West Coast to the East Coast and then to Italy before joining E2 as a sales consultant. He brings a well-traveled perspective and interest in renewable energy to our company, helping clients from all walks of life to achieve their solar goals. “The rooftops of box stores — Amazon Warehouses, Costcos, Targets, and Walmarts. We could substantially change the demand on our grid if every box store with tens of thousands of feet of roof had solar on them.”

Coolest application of solar

“The new Enphase batteries. Being able to charge them with solar, and utilize their energy in the evening during peak usage hours is awesome. Not to mention, being able to power your home or essential loads in your home during a grid outage is next level.”

“Solar is most underutilized on rooftops of people’s homes. If everyone could install solar it would eliminate the need for solar farms taking up land for wildlife across the world.”

Clean energy wisdom

“I’m a big believer in having a choice when it comes to energy. Seeing the financial, social, and environmental takeaway from solar and batteries for many years now gives me true conviction that we are doing the right thing day in and day out for both residential and commercial clients and will continue to provide folks with real energy independence.”

Solar opportunities

“In my opinion, solar power is underutilized by large corporations and stores. Grocery stores and their distribution chains use power every day and can afford to offset that usage with solar. I’d like to see more of the mega-corps step up and use the space and capital they have to offset some of that usage.”

Conner

Solar opportunities

“The most underutilized piece of solar technology is other types of installation styles besides a classic roof mount: ground mounts, parking structure mounts, or tracker systems. I think there is still a ton of growth needed to make those accessible to everyone, but I find them interesting.”

– Conner Thomas
